“The Hallowed Halls”
Lakeview, Booker T. Washington, and C.A. Johnson High Schools were 3 South Carolina segregation-era institutions that produced model citizens in spite of inferior facilities and entrenched racism. The film salutes the teachers and administrators who molded doctors, judges, and businesspersons. It has been viewed by thousands of people across the country, and it was screened at the 2013 San Diego Black Film Festival.
